This week has been a rough week for me … and I really don’t know why. I have been super unmotivated and¬†a little mopey … it’s pretty depressing ūüėõ

Anyway … I am sorry for being quiet this past week but things have been crazy around here and I am behind on about 90345 things I need to do right now … EEK!

The Copper Promise by Jen WilliamsThe Copper Promise (The Copper Cat #1) by Jen Williams

This book has been siting on my CR list for weeks! But I am honestly still reading through it a few pages at a time. It’s not a bad read and it’s not that I’m not enjoying it … I just feel like taking it pieces at a time. Not to mention how swamped I have been with my reading and writing lately!

The Near Witch by Victoria SchwabThe Near Witch by Victoria Schwab

In a few short weeks I will be going to see the queen herself and I am SO EXCITED OMG!!! I seriously hope I can remember how to act like an adult human in from of Victoria Schwab … but I honestly doubt it …

Anyway … I have decided to read the last remaining Schwab books on my TBR in anticipation starting with this one and finishing with the Archived series next!

The standalone novel was Schwab’s debut and I have to say …¬†for a debut fantasy this book is really quite great! It’s got a lot of the darkness I have come to know and love from Schwab, and while it would not stand toe to toe with her later series work … this is a really enjoyable story.

Too Late by Colleen HooverToo Late by Colleen Hoover

I picked this book up a while ago on Kindle Unlimited … but the first chapter hit way too close to home for me and I was not emotionally ready to tackle my ghosts. This month, I have KU again and I felt like I was better prepared to take this on seeing as how I knew what to expect. I have to be honest though … I do have to keep putting this down at places other people probably do not … and I have already cried a few times and not because of this story … but because of my own. Somehow CoHo managed to write a large chunk of my own life into this story and I know this is going to be crushing … will someone please hold my hand?

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky ChambersThe Long Way to a Small Angry Planet (Wayfarers #1) by Becky Chambers

I started this audiobook about a week ago and have not really had a lot of time for it … but it is a really interesting, diverse world and I am excited for it!

I love a slow burn plot and really developed characters and relationships … and this book has all that! So I am fully expecting to love this series when I’m done ūüôā

Gathering Darkness by morgan rhodesGathering Darkness (Falling Kingdoms #3) by Morgan Rhodes

This week the Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League completed chapters¬†5-10 … this upcoming week we will be taking a week off for some of us to catch up (remember how I said I was a thousand years behind on like everything?)

This is book 3 in the Falling Kingdoms series and the next book being read by the Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League. The series has some serious issues, but reading with this group has been a lot of fun!

Well … this book didn’t exactly woo me. It was enjoyable enough but it was not amazing or epic for me. This retelling of Beauty and the Beast was a unique take on the classic fairytale. Unfortunately, I was not able to connect to the relationship between Beauty and Beast … and that’s sort of the point yeah? I adored the other relationships in this story … between the sisters, between friends … so the romance was stilted … it was not well developed and did not have enough of a foundation to make me feel … anything. I ended up giving this a 3.5/5 star rating.

The Player and the Pixie (Rugby #2) by LH Sosway and Penny ReidThe Player and the Pixie (Rugby #2) by L.H. Cosway, Penny Reid

After reading Hunted and¬†getting very little accomplished on my other fantasy reads … I decided¬†I was starting to slump on the fantasy and decided to feed my New Adult cravings with this horribly titled¬†(and fugly covered) book. You guys! This book was great! I loved it! These characters were so much fun and this romance was a beautiful hate-to-love trope that I ADORED! Sean is seriously bae. So broody and snarky but deep down he’s a tender broken boy¬†who was terribly hard not to fall head over hills in love with! I gave this book a 4.5/5 star rating but I may decide on a full 5 … maybe.

Just a Little Junk by Stylo FantomeJust a Little Junk by Stylo Fantome

Continuing with my New Adult Kindle Unlimited kick … I have had this book on my tbr since this adorable cover caught my eye a few months ago. I promised I would give it a try next time I had KU so here we are … and OMG IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!

I was not expecting to love this book so much because 1) it sounded sort of dumb 2) I don’t care for mystery suspense …¬† but I was wrong … I was so wrong to judge!

Ok yeah … it’s dumb … in a less ridiculous The Hangover or Bridesmaids sort of way … but hilarious and sexy and ‚̧

Yeah … I don’t want to give too much away here but this book was great guys … ok … GREAT! I gave this a 4.5/5 star rating but this one might get a full 5 as well … we will have to see how I feel in another day or two.

Weekly Outlook

Hopefully things will chill out a bit this week and I can regain some of my sanity and motivation and positive energy!

This next week I¬†plan to continue tackling my Goodreads Currently Reading list.¬†I¬†have sworn to get it down to a manageable number by focusing on completing the books I have already started before adding a million more … it’s not going well … oops.

I will be adding my bookish bestie Roxy¬†to the blog as a guest reviewer¬†this week starting with a meet and¬†greet interview and introduction post this upcoming Thursday.¬†which should be great! I was supposed to do it this past week but … life. Anyway, she reads more contemporary books while I tend to sway more toward the fantasy genre. I think this will be an awesome new partnership and allow me to get more reviews up on the blog in both genres. We also have a new idea for a fun conversation style buddy read review feature.

As always, I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable week!

With all the things on my CR list, I feel like I won’t get much of this one done this week either. But we will see … I was on a contemporary kick the past few weeks but I can feel my heart returning to the motherland … that is to say the fantasy genre ūüėČ

hunted by meagan spoonerHunted by Meagan Spooner

I started this audiobook the beginning of last week but I only listened to about an hour of it at the time. I was able to get through about 60% of it yesterday before my Overdrive loan expired … fortunately I purchased this as a Kindle book during a recent sale for $1.99 so I will be finishing this book up as an e-book read this week.

I have been on a bit of a Beauty and the Beast kick lately which has been a fun ride. This book is interesting but a bit on the slow side. The writing is really well done which is nice. I am excited to see how this all comes together.

Heir of fire by sarah j maasHeir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J Maas

I started this book a while ago when I finished Crown of Midnight. Unfortunately, I was not feeling it at the time so this book was moved to the backburner … and then into the currently reading list of forgetfulness.

Well …¬†this book has fallen back to the wayside as I have literally only read the first chapter … oops. Seriously this is the most failed BR of all time as my buddies have also abandoned the read! I’m still going to keep it here on my CR list and hopefully I’ll get back into this one sometime soon.

Caught Inside by S Briones LimCaught Inside (Caught Inside #1) by S. Briones Lim

As many of you know … I recently returned from a week and a half visit back “home” to the Florida beaches ‚̧ AND I MISS IT ALREADY! There is just something about living a life that most people only have when on vacation. I love the sun and the sand and the heat and the water and the waves … and I wasn’t ready to let it go! So I found this collection of surfer romance books that I was hoping would be the perfect light beachy reads to keep me in the spirit ‚̧

I have read about 50% of this Kindle Unlimited read and it’s okay at best. It’s a little too simplistic and sort of anticlimactic and I’m really not connected to the characters. Still a quick easy read … but not great.

Gathering Darkness by morgan rhodesGathering Darkness (Falling Kingdoms #3) by Morgan Rhodes

This week the Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League completed chapters 1-5 … this upcoming week we will be tacking up to chapter 10.¬†This is book 3 in the Falling Kingdoms series and the next book being read by the Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League. The series has some serious issues, but reading with this group has been a lot of fun!

I listened¬†to this audiobook while driving to and from Florida¬†over the past few weeks … and I¬†am crushed! In the best ways of course!¬†Schwab is masterful in her writing and storytelling and this series has been no exception ‚̧

IT’S SO GOOD OMG! 5/5 stars ALL DAY EVERY DAY!

The worst part though was driving with tears streaming down my eyes … probably not the safest move tbh … but I’m still here … albeit missing a piece of my soul … but still here.

SCHWAB WHY DO YOU DO THESE THINGS … I’m not mad at you though … I love the pain!

the wall of winnipeg and me by mariana zapataThe Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata

Roxy has been on my case about reading this book for all of FOREVER! But I don’t run into contemporary kicks too often so¬†it took me a while to pick this one up! I’m very glad I did too! While the writing definitely had some issues and I feel like there was a need for some more aggressive editing in this book … in the end I loved it. It was a really great story with characters that I truly cared about and felt for.

This book is not a dramatic tumultuous romantic relationship but a slow burn¬†building of a true friendship that blossoms into lasting love. It was true and fresh and¬†real and I really enjoyed it (once I¬†started ignoring the¬†exhaustingly long monologues and the repetition of the narrators thoughts)¬†‚̧ This one is getting a solid 4/5 stars rating though I have¬†not reviewed it yet. (I literally finished this book 6 hours ago).

Plus it’s on Kindle Unlimited!

beauty and the goblin king by lidiya foxgloveBeauty and the Goblin King (Fairy Tale Heat #1) by Lidiya Foxglove

“I really want to read a smutty fairy tale retelling” are the exact words I recall telling my bookish bestie only a few days ago. Well my friends … ask and you shall receive because while looking up “erotica” for some good laughs on Amazon I came across this collection of fairy tale erotica that is sure to please. And on Kindle Unlimited too!

I mean come on! An erotica retelling of Beauty and the Beast and with the inclusion of the classic Goblin King … just what I was looking for when those words were spoken ūüėõ

If you are thinking of trying this book … please¬†keep in mind that this series is essentially erotica. It’s sex with a plot … not plot with sex. The sex and sexual innuendo takes on a much heavier presence in this story than it would in a basic romance novel and the plot is glazed over quicker and with less emotion than a basic romance novel. It’s fun.

What I was surprised at though was how good the writing actually was for a book of this genre as well as the intricate plotline which was really well done (again for a book of this genre).

I feel like this description is quickly becoming a full review here lol so I will stop now … review to come though. 3.5-4/5 stars for this erotica retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

Weekly Outlook

This next week I will continue tackling my Goodreads Currently Reading list. Somehow I let it get even more out of control this past week! So I have sworn to get it down to a manageable number by focusing on completing the books I have already started before adding a million more.

I will be adding my bookish bestie Roxy to the blog as a guest reviewer this week starting with a meet and greet interview and introduction post this upcoming Thursday. which should be great! This week will be pretty chill … we are starting to get back into a basic routine around here so nothing too exciting. The good news is I should be able to get a lot of reading, writing, and reviewing done! Here’s hoping *crosses fingers*

Weekly Wrap-up | July.09.2017

Well this week was an epic failure as far as blogging goes … as far as vacationing goes though … it was beautiful ūüôā

Ok so yeah … I literally only posted one blog post this past week … and I didn’t get nearly as much reading done as I was hoping for … and I only wrote 1 book review … and I may have broken down and had a complete fantasy slump and abandoned all my currently reading books to switch gears … but whatever!

Reading is about enjoying what you want and my beach vacation (which ends tomorrow) was a major success and so were the few books I did manage to read ‚̧

I continued reading The Copper Promise. It got pushed to the backburner for a while but now I am focusing on it more. I am very much looking forward to reading more of this story over the following week.

Our Dark Duet by Victoria SchwabOur Dark Duet (Monsters of Verity #2) by Victoria Schwab

I listened up to about 80% of this exciting and heartfelt audiobook while stuck in traffic for 15 hours on my way to go on vacation. This book definitely has me HOOKED! Schwab is masterful in her writing and storytelling and this series has been no exception ‚̧

I look forward to the return drive home tomorrow (hopefully NOT 15 hours of driving) so I can listen to the rest of this book! IT’S SO GOOD OMG!

I HYPED THE FUCK OUT OF THIS BOOK! Like seriously I hyped it so hard you have no idea! If you follow me on Goodreads … then you already know! This book is so good! SO GOOD! My thoughts are all the hell over the place right now so I’m sorry for the epic fangirling. I was literally up all night last night reading this book! As in … I have not been to sleep yet and it is now 8:30am so I guess I won’t be sleeping. WORTH IT! This world is amazing, the magic system is epic, the shipping is SO FREAKING GREAT! I CRIED AND LAUGHED AND SO MUCH TENSION! Omg this is the least comprehensive paragraph even created! I have no chill right now. Oops.

The Black Witch by Laurie ForestThe Black Witch (The Black Witch #1) by Laurie Forest

One of my Most Anticipated Book Releases of May¬†2017. I was finally able to really sit down and finish The Black Witch this week and I really enjoyed it!¬†Like it was¬†so¬†good!¬†This book has a slow build plot and¬†a character driven plot, but these happen to be things that I like. It takes a while¬†for anything substantial to happen, but there are¬†definitely more subtle things¬†building throughout as you read. This story is extremely well written and really well developed! Intricate¬†world building, intricate political structure, intricate character relationships, and really heavy and¬†important topics … all in a story of friendship and college and shippy goodness.¬†There has been a lot of recent controversy over this book, and from my own experience and research, this controversy has been completely misrepresented and unwarranted. I will be working on my extremely long and detailed review of this book this week … so be prepared! I gave this book 4.5/5 stars … maybe even 5/5.

I listened to this book as an audiobook this week while doing things around the house. One of my Most Anticipated Book Releases of May¬†2017, this book is full of cute interactions and cultural discussions. I was able to get to the halfway point just last night and so far it is a solid cute contemporary read. This book is not pure fluff though. It goes over a few societal issues along the way and I think very tastefully done. The writing is good and the characters are enjoyable. I have had a few issues with this book so unfortunately I don’t foresee it being a solid 5 star rating from me … but most people have loved this book through and though and I can see why.

Oh boy … this book was top 5 most anticipated books of 2017 and what a disappointment! Which means the year of disappointment continues! So far¬†only 2 of my top 5¬†has paid off … and this book was not one of them!

I’m not going to waste a lot of time complaining here because you can read my A Court of Wings and Ruin ‚ÄúRant-view‚Ä̬†if you need to see all the ways this book let me down!

Anyway … I rated this 2/5 stars and cried big¬†raging tears¬†because this book was an utter catastrophe of anticipation and hype!

Long May She Reign by Rhiannon thomasLong May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas

This book was a decent read but it in no way rocked my world. It had serious potential but it was just a little bit flat and anticlimactic. This book was … beige. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. It was a decent read with little passion from me one way or the other. Probably best for a rainy day or a camping/beach read where you need a book that doesn’t require an intense amount of concentration. Still enjoyable though. I rated this book a middle of the road 3/5 stars.

The Magicians by Lev GrossmanThe Magicians (The Magicians #1) by Lev Grossman

This week I listened to this book as and audiobook and really did enjoy it. The narrator was well chosen for this one and it added to the experience in a positive way. I was expecting a story with a ton of magic and maybe even a Hogwart’s type cast with a Narnia twist. Which essentially is what I got … only more. This is not your childhood Hogwarts … and it not your childhood Narnia. This was actually a raw accounting of life, college, friendship, mistakes, and struggle. What do you do when you get everything your heart desired … and it becomes a curse? What do you do when your dream world becomes a reality … and it still doesn’t make you happy? I have not yet written a review for this book nor have I been able to figure out how I will rate it. This is the type of book that gets you thinking more and more … finding the deeper tones … the deeper meanings the further from it you get. I believe I will be somewhere around a 3.5/5 stars¬†for this read.

When this approval came through from Netgalley I was shocked! Literally shocked. Because I was honestly crazy excited to receive an ARC of one of my most anticipated reads of the year! I really and truly cannot want to dive into this one once I clear my currently reading list!

I mean … Tribal warrior lesbians? I’m. Here. For. It!

(Goodreads synopsis):

The Hokkaran empire has conquered every land within their bold reach‚Äēbut failed to notice a lurking darkness festering within the people. Now, their border walls begin to crumble, and villages fall to demons swarming out of the forests.

Away on the silver steppes, the remaining tribes of nomadic Qorin retreat and protect their own, having bartered a treaty with the empire, exchanging inheritance through the dynasties. Currently reading

Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes, Michelle RowenRebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms #2) by Morgan Rhodes, Michelle Rowen

Continuing this book and series with the (really awesome) Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League group. This week we covered chapters 16 ‚Äď 20.¬†Looking forward to more¬†fun predictions and discussions over the course of the next few weeks!

The Black Witch by Laurie ForestThe Black Witch (The Black Witch #1) by Laurie Forest

I was able to get a few more chapters read in The Black Witch this week. This story is well written and developing nicely! I am really excited to focus more on this book this week. There has been a lot of recent controversy over this book, and so far from my own experience and research, this controversy has been completely misrepresented and unwarranted.

The Copper Promise by Jen WilliamsThe Copper Promise (The Copper Cat #1) by Jen Williams

I continued reading The Copper Promise with a fellow GR friend and reviewer (Follow her Instagram @haileesbooksandstuff). I was really only able to get maybe 2 more chapter through this because Lord of Shadows monopolized my reading time this week. But still a lot of snark, a lot of brutal stuff, and I’m getting major Indiana Jones vibes … so basically ALL GREAT THINGS! I am very much looking forward to reading more of this story over the following week.

Finished Reading

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra ClareLord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare

NO BIG DEAL … ONLY MY MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK OF 2017 and honestly absolutely worth the hype Рalthough me and Cassandra Clare need to have words about that ending!

One thing I know I am going to get when reading A CC book is dynamic easy to love characters, awesome action scenes,¬†and heart wrenching moments! Boy did this book deliver … especially on the “heart-wrenching” bit. From the very beginning,¬†this book was¬†one of the most beautifully painful reads of the year and I loved it! I mean the first 8 words on the inner cover just about killed me …

‚ÄúWould you trade your soulmate for your soul?‚ÄĚ

I mean crap! tears already! This book was a part of my soul from the very beginning! Here are a few of my Goodreads updates on this book so you can see what I mean:

2.36% ‚ÄúI‚Äôve already teared up 3 times ‚Ķ this is not a good sign.‚ÄĚ

¬†8.75% ‚ÄúI have already experienced every emotion there is and I‚Äôm only on chapter 4!‚ÄĚ

¬†16.53% ‚ÄúOMG MY HEART‚ÄĚ

27.78% “The tension in my chest … the one that feels like my heart is being ripped from it … has not relaxed at all since I started this book!

31.94% ‚ÄúIm going to need to lay on the floor for a week and contemplate the meaning of life after this book NO LIE‚ÄĚ

64.58% ‚ÄúI think that makes 10 times I have shed tears reading this book ‚Ķ.keep in mind I am an emotional wreck so it‚Äôs not that surprising.‚ÄĚ

Yep ‚Ķ you get the idea! Total emotional destruction and 100% worth the pain! I am a little irked that this book ended on a MAJOR CLIFFHANGER and Clare will not be releasing the conclusion of this story until 2019 … but it will most likely take me that long to pick up the broken pieces of my soul and put them back together just in time to be destroyed again I’m sure.

I have not yet gotten around to writing a review for this book –¬†I feel like the books that are closest to my soul are the hardest ones to write about¬†– but it is an overwhelming 5/5 stars!

Weekly Outlook

I feel like over the past month my weeks have been crazy unproductive! I usually read so many more books than I have of late. I feel like week after week I’m just posting the same post here because I have made no progress. Ugh sorry.

This next week I will be finishing up a few things on my Currently Reading list and hopefully getting some more reviews written and posted!

I’m heading to the lake for a family camping trip this weekend! I would like to think I will have tons of time to relax and read … but unfortunately it never seems to work out that way. Maybe this time?

As always, I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable week!

I WAS LITERALLY THE WORST BLOGGER IN THE WORLD THIS WEEK!

Whoops?

Currently reading

Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes, Michelle RowenRebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms #2) by Morgan Rhodes, Michelle Rowen

Continuing this book and series with the (really awesome) Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League group. This week we covered chapters 11 Р15. Not so much enjoying this book, but loving the group discussions! Looking forward to more fun predictions and discussions over the course of the next few weeks!

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra ClareLord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare

NO BIG DEAL … ONLY MY MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK OF 2017 WAS RELEASED THIS WEEK! (ok I lied, it’s totally a big deal!).

I honestly feel like the most blessed human on the earth right now to have¬†this book in hand … and I’m already almost finished reading it. From the very beginning, it has¬†been one of the most beautifully painful reads of the year and I love it! From the first line of the inner cover blurb, I knew this was going to be a heart shattering read.

“Would you trade your soulmate for your soul?”

I mean crap! tears already! This book is a part of my soul from the very beginning! Here are a few of my Goodreads updates on this book so you can see what I mean:

2.36% “I’ve already teared up 3 times … this is not a good sign.”

64.58% “I think that makes 10 times I have shed tears reading this book ….

Yep … you get the idea! Total emotional destruction and 100% worth the pain! Unfortunately I am heading out for family vacation (where I will be shoved into a 1 bedroom mountain condo with 5 people in total) … so I don’t foresee being able to finish the last 200 pages until Monday (boo).

Finished Reading

This week was monopolized by Lord of Shadows in all honesty. But I was able to get an audio read in this week.

Any Duchess Will Do by Tessa DareAny Duchess Will Do (Spindle Cove #4) by Tessa Dare

Another fantastic read in Tessa Dare’s Spindle Cove series. Regency romance is not a genre that I had given a chance until recently and I have enjoyed each and every book in this series so far! This particular book was perhaps the worst as far as inta-love I have read by Dare … but I honestly didn’t care because everything else was on point! Beautiful heartfelt story and sexy moments. I have not yet written a review for this book, but I gave it 4/5 stars.

Weekly Outlook

This next week I will be finishing up with my Currently Reading list and hopefully starting The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly Ringle. Also I will be designating a lot of time to writing and posting reviews!

Heading to the mountains for a quick family vacation this weekend … then it’s read read read for the rest of the week!

As always, I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable week!

Continuing this book and series with the (really awesome) Falling Kingdoms Fantasy League group. This week we covered chapters 6 Р10. So far I am enjoying this book a lot more than book one. Looking forward to more fun predictions and discussions over the course of the next few weeks!

The Great Hunt by Robert JordanThe Great Hunt (The Wheel of Time #2) by Robert Jordan

Continuing this series with book two. This week I was able to finally read past the 70% mark! Unfortunately I have to return it to the library today, and I will not be able to get it back in my hands for several more weeks to finish

Long May She Reign by Rhiannon thomasLong May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas

This week I started Long May She Reign and was immediately captivated. The writing is decent and the story is good. I am around the 50% mark on this book right now and, while still enjoying it, I have reached a slight lull. I’m hoping to finish this one up¬†in the next day or two!

The Black Witch by Laurie ForestThe Black Witch (The Black Witch #1) by Laurie Forest

This week I started The Black Witch with a few fellow reviewers and bloggers ( Bentley @ Book Bastion and Solomon @ The Bookish King, check them out!). I have not been able to delve very far into this book yet, but so far I am really enjoying it! There has been a lot of recent controversy over this book, and so far from my own experience and research, this controversy has been completely misrepresented and unwarranted.

The Copper Promise by Jen WilliamsThe Copper Promise (The Copper Cat #1) by Jen Williams

I started reading The Copper Promise with a fellow GR friend and reviewer (Follow her Instagram @haileesbooksandstuff). Again, I have not gotten very far into this book, but so far there is a lot of snark, a lot of brutal stuff, and I’m getting major Indiana Jones vibes … so basically ALL GREAT THINGS! I am very much looking forward to reading more of this story over the following week.

Finished Reading

This week has been a busy week for STARTING books … not so much for finishing them.

Then and Always by Dani AtkinsThen and Always by Dani Atkins

I was able to audiobook this book in a little less than 4 hours time. It is a really touching and emotional love story that I was very happy to experience. A quick easy read and the perfect contemporary to break up the massive amount of fantasy reads I currently have running. This book got a 3.5/5 stars rating from me. Read the full review here.

NetGalley Approval

The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly RingleThe Goblins of Bellwater

This week I received my first NetGalley ARC approval and for a book I have been extremely excited about reading because 1) Goblins and 2) THAT COVER IS GORGEOUS!

(Excerpt from Goodreads Synopsis): A contemporary romance inspired by Christina Rossetti’s eerie, sensual poem, “Goblin Market.”

Four neighbors encounter sinister enchantments and a magical path to love in a small, modern-day Puget Sound town, where a fae realm hides in the woods and waters…

Weekly Outlook

This next week I will be continuing with my Currently Reading list and hopefully starting Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones and The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly Ringle. Also looking forward to catching up a little on TOO many of my reviews left unwritten.

My daughter will be finishing up her last few days of school this week, so I am hoping to get the family out on some outdoor adventures. We are ready for summer!

As always, I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable week!
